Tool of the Week - Topiary Shears Tube. Duration : 2.62 Mins.
The tool I have chosen to clip the box shapes with are the topiary sheers. Based on the design of traditional sheep shearers, these light weight and smooth action sheers are held in one hand and used to lightly clip this year's growth. It's such a nice, relaxing job to do, and because they only remove a little at a time, there's no chance of slipping up and disfiguring the topiary bush too severely. Work your way slowly around the plant, standing back to assess and maintaining the shape as you go. I grew a box spiral from a cutting about 10 years ago (inspired by one Alan Tichmarsh did on Gardeners' World) and its now about there. Once clipped, feed with a general purpose organic fertilizer and water well if dry, especially if growing
Modern roses are easy to grow with few requirements. They need eight hours of sun a day, rich soil, and moist but not soggy soil. Roses are available year round at Florists. Grocery store floral departments often offer roses at bargain prices in a wide range of colors. So what can you do with all those roses? Here are any rose centerpiece ideas.
Topiary
How To Topiary
A topiary is a plant that is clipped in geometric shapes or other fanciful designs. One of the most base is the lollipop design, a sphere atop a trunk. Strip the leaves from the roses. Hold the roses right below their heads and tie. Cut the stems all the same length. Tie the stems at the lowest as well. Put floral foam into a shallow container. The foam should barely fit. Soak with water. As the foam absorbs the water it expands and will now fit tightly into the container. Push the rose stems into the foam. Cover the foam with sphagnum moss. If the arrangement is too top heavy cover the foam with glass pebbles or marbles and then the moss. As the roses open the tight bouquet at the top will fill out and look as if a sphere.

One rose in a bud vase is pretty, a dozen roses each in their own vase marching down the center of a table is stunning. Vases should all be the same for the best effect. Another idea is to cut the stems very short and place the rose blossom in votive candle holders. Alternate a rose with a votive owner that holds a candle.
Cut the rose stems in varying lengths, with every two roses having the same length. The tallest rose is in a vase in the center. As the roses strengthen towards the ends of the table the lengths gets shorter and shorter. Scatter rose petals among the vases.
Water Wonders
Wait until the blossoms have opened about halfway. Cut the stems off and float the roses in a clear shallow dish. Stack the shallow dishes for a tiered ensue using clear glasses as the retain in the middle of the dishes. Float a rose in each clear glass.
Find an empty round fish bowl, the kind used for goldfish works perfectly. Use a metal flower frog to anchor the roses. The frog looks like a pin cushion with the sharp ends pointing upwards. The stems of the flowers are pushed onto the pins to hold them. Dispose the rose stems on the sharp ends. Place the flower frog in the fish bowl. Cover the lowest of bowl with glass pebbles. Fill with water so the roses are underwater.
Roses are inexpensive, easy to grow, and fun to work with when you create rose centerpiece ideas.

Jane Seymour Botanicals provides the most beautiful flower arrangement ideas. The floral arrangement ideas may be used in any room of the home or office. She focuses on silk flowers for longevity. Many citizen do not have the luxury of purchasing flowers frequently. Alternatively, some citizen may be allergic to the pollen that flowers produce. These citizen may prefer Jane Seymour's silk floral arrangements for year-round beauty in the home.
She produces beautiful calla lily arrangements in different types of vases. Some of the vases are open bowls that allow the calla lilies to drape over whether side. The stems may be viewed straight through the glass for a dramatic effect. Other vases are tall and cylindrical allowing the flowers to be arranged in a close-knit bunch. The effect is beautiful and recommended for a room with high ceilings or any room where the designer wants to draw the eye upward.
She not only provides calla lilies to consumers, but also roses, tulips, orchids, hydrangeas, magnolias and topiary arrangements make up the collection. Her lilac arrangements are really breathtaking. Though they are silk flowers, the flowers appear realistic. The colors are complementary, purple and green. The beholder is conveyable to a lilac field.
Roses are a seal of love and commitment to a person. Red roses in a vase evoke feelings of passion. The English garden arrangement is both fun and playful, while beautiful. The red roses in a trumpet vase exude romance. Jane Seymour paid single attention to her rose displays to make them beneficial for any room.
Many citizen take silk flowers for extra occasions. Jane Seymour offers many flower arrangement ideas for extra occasions. They are ideal for decorating in any setting. Weddings are a tasteless event where flowers are a part of tradition. Most citizen do not think silk flowers for weddings, but silk topiaries may add a unique effect to the wedding. The topiaries may be used in the home after the event is over, unlike fresh flowers. Many citizen combine both silk and fresh. Fresh floral arrangements are coveted for aromatherapy as well.
The flowers last a lifetime and are easy to clean. Many consumers think silk flowers a worthwhile investment. Though the introductory speculation is greater, this is a good speculation for some people. Silk floral topiary arrangements may be settled at entrances to add an element of surprise at the door. Consumers who do not have the time to speak fresh flowers will enjoy the convenience and beauty of silk floral arrangements.
When we first started our medical billing enterprise in 1994 I had no previous sense at billing any medical claims, let alone secondary and tertiary. (You mean some habitancy have 3 insurances?) I knew nothing. In fourteen years of billing I've learned quite a bit and I see from questions in our forum that many beginners do not understand secondary and tertiary claims billing at all.
First of all, how does anyone get two or three policies and which is considered primary? If a husband and a wife both work (who doesn't?) and they are both covered by condition guarnatee by their employers, they may both have family policies so they are both covered under each others plan. One would be primary and the other secondary. Now if one of this merge (a few years ago we would have assumed that it would only be the husband) had previous troops sense and carried over their Tricare troops insurance, that would be the third payor (if there was a equilibrium left).
How To Topiary
Which enterprise is primary and which one is secondary is considered by one of a merge separate methods. First of all, if a person is working and they carry insurance, that guarnatee is primary (unless they have Medicare and their manager has less than 100 employees). If a person is retired and has Medicare but the spouse works and carries a family policy, then the spouse's plan would be primary and the Medicare would be secondary.

There is no way to cover every scenario but basically whether or not the person or the spouse is working can conclude the order. For dependents (usually children) some go by the "birthday rule" meaning that whichever parents birthday falls first in the year is primary. Of course with all of the separation out there sometimes the order of guarnatee is considered by a court order.
When a patient is seen by a victualer the claim is sent on a Cms 1500 form to the primary guarnatee carrier whether electronically or on paper. Electronically it can be sent whether directly to the guarnatee carrier by special software or through a aid or through a clearing house. When sent on paper it simple means the claim is printed to a paper Cms 1500 form and sent through the mail. anyone the case is, it is leading that you know the order of the policies.
Once the primary guarnatee carrier pays their share of the claim it is then submitted to the secondary guarnatee enterprise if the patient has one. Secondary claims can also be sent electronically and on paper. Medicare is mandating electronic submissions even on secondary claims. When submitted electronically all the data from the eob (explanation of benefits) is entered into the claim data and submitted to the secondary guarnatee carrier.
When the secondary is submitted on paper, the claim is printed out again on a cms form and a photocopy of the eob is attached. If other patients are listed on the eob, their personal data should be hidden. Many offices use black markers (we call them smelly pens) to draw through the unwanted information. I've set up a bunch of discrete width strips of white cardboard that we slide into clear article covers to cover the unwanted data before we photocopy. We only do this with associates that are not yet accepting electronic submissions.
If there is still a equilibrium after the secondary guarnatee carrier pays their share, the claim is sent on to the third carrier. It is printed out again on a cms form and copies of the eobs of both the primary and the secondary guarnatee carriers are attached.
Whenever you send secondary and tertiary claims on paper, make sure the photocopies you attach are clear, easy to read, and for the strict date of service. Many guarnatee carriers scan the eobs which lightens them a little. If the copy you submitted was already light, by the time the claim is processed it may be sent back to you as unreadable. It takes a lot more time to find the primary eob and resubmit a claim than it does to get it right the first time.
Secondary and tertiary claims can sometimes seem like a pain to get paid - especially because they can be for a very small whole of money. It is still leading to file and track these claims to keep your receivables under control. It may not seem like a lot of money but it adds up. If you have a theory for submitting them it verily isn't that bad.

Outdoor artificial plants and outdoor artificial trees have come to be a hot new item in the artificial foliage industry. Outdoor foliage is a realistic solution for consumers and businesses that have a myriad of problems with the upkeep of live plants and trees. Outdoor artificial trees and plants are infused with Uv inhibitors that protect them from the sun's harmful Uv rays that cause fading. This year we have received an unusually high number of phone calls from customers wanting to spend in artificial outdoor plants, trees and topiary. The most tasteless reasons businesses call in range from slashed maintenance budgets to higher than normal problems with bug infestations in live topiaries. Too often we get a call from a small enterprise owner who has two topiaries accenting the front entrance to their building and every year one of the topiaries dies because of a bug problem. We unmistakably don't want to replace all of the live trees and plants in the world, there is nothing like the charm and smell of a flowering tree in spring time. But we do understand that there are situations where it is impossible to keep outdoor plants alive. In ground and decorative planter premise of artificial Outdoor Plants, Topiaries and Trees
Most Outdoor artificial Plants, Trees and Topiaries can be purchased whether potted or unpotted. Potted items are delivered in a weighted plastic grow pot. Unpotted items will be delivered with a bare stem or bare trunk. Let's focus first on the premise steps for un-potted items.
In ground: Unpotted premise steps
1. quantum the height of the stem or trunk you want to be buried underground.
2. Dig a hole relative to the size of the base stem or trunk you are installing. For bigger trees and topiary dig a wider and deeper hole than for smaller plants and flowers.
3. To help the cement bind to the tree, wrap a heavy gauge wire colse to the trunk and leave any inches of wire sticking out on whether side of the trunk. You can do this any times for great grip. For smaller plants and flowers you can drive a nail through the base of the stem or wrap a heavy gauge wire.
4. Mix your cement and pour it into the hole.
5. install your artificial outdoor tree or plant into the cement, securing it in place so it dries straight up and down.
6. There is an optional premise technique you can use for plants with stems. Substitute step 2 above with a slightly shallower hole. Pour your concrete into the hole. Submerge the stem of your plant 2 to 3 inches into the ground below the hole. This will help your plant stay at the permissible angle as your concrete dries.
7. After drying has taken place, add dirt or decorative mulch colse to the base of your artificial outdoor trees and plants to give them a more natural look.
In ground: Potted premise steps
1. You can select to have your plants or trees delivered to you potted in a weighted base or you can pot them yourself at home.
2. Plants can be potted in an inexpensive box like a nursery pot, or paper mache pot.
3. Dig a hole relative to the size of the pot you want to install.
4. Place the pot into the ground ensuring that it is level and your plant or tree is vertically straight.
5. Cover the planter with dirt and pack the dirt tightly colse to the base of the planter.
6. Add decorative mulch colse to the base of your outdoor artificial plants to give them a natural look.
Decorative Planter: premise steps
Installing your trees or plants in a decorative planter can be a great accent colse to your pool, patio or the front entrance to your home or business.
1. The easiest recipe for installing plants into a planter is to pre-pot them in a weighted base. You can whether buy the items potted or pot them at home in an inexpensive box as mentioned above. This will save you from having to pour concrete into your decorative planter. It is my sense that plainly inserting your plants into dirt in a planter will not hold them upright for a long period of time, and wind and rain conditions will cause them to topple over. If you have any plants being installed in a single planter, pot them in smaller pots and the pots can be used to reserve each other in the planter.
2. Once you have potted your outdoor plants you can surround the plastic pot with gravel or dirt to gain it into the planter. I like to pour gravel into my planter then pour dirt into the gravel to ensure the pot is securely held into place.
3. Place decorative mulch or moss colse to the base of your plant or tree to give it a natural look.
The last section of this article takes a look at how to care for outdoor artificial plants. Over time all artificial plants and trees will begin to degrade. New techniques in Uv security will slow down the fading process of the polyblend materials used to make the plants. We have seen outdoor plants and trees that have Uv security last for over 10 years and still look fantastic. To keep your plants finding great we recommend quarterly washings of your plants. This will help keep oils, dirt and residue from building up on them, which can cause them to degrade faster than normal. If you live in an area where you have normal rainfall, this should do the trick. In periods of low rainfall plainly hose down your plants on a quarterly basis. Leaves and stems may bend over time with rain, snow or wind. You should be able to plainly bend them back into the shape you desire if this happens. If you have a taller tree or topiary that constantly bends due to high wind conditions, try installing stake into the ground colse to the planter or cement to help keep it from shifting in the wind.
I hope these tips and tricks will help you have a beautifully landscaped yard or patio that you can enjoy year round.
